The survivors of Riverside escaped certain death by fleeing the city before the nuclear strike, but the horror of the infection followed them. Efforts to stop the spread failed. Quarantines were breached. Safe zones were overrun and undermined from the inside. A pandemic gripped the globe in mere days. Any semblance of a coordinated response to the crisis crumbled as zombies began to outnumber the living. The uninfected now are on their own.
It has been four months since the infection began. The few who have survived are getting fewer. Food, shelter, and ammunition are growing concerns. Some small groups attempt to hold out. Some prefer to stay on the run. And still others try to escape the horror altogether by finding a safe haven, free from the infected. Does such a place even exist?
